Sound is a metaphor for the “Deep Sea” because it demonstrates the unknown. Sound can make something dark and mysterious or light and joyful. When floating in the ocean, we can’t see what lurks below that makes the ocean what is is to the naked eye. Same with sound. Sometimes we can’t understand the process but the end result is something beautiful. It’s like the deep sea is the behind the scenes and the end product is us floating on the surface; only scratching a part of the whole process.
